The Model

The model was popularised by branding expert Simon Sinek in his book Start With Why. He encourages business owners to differentiate from the competition by focusing on their purpose rather than products and processes. The logic behind it is routed in neuroscience and the belief that building the strongest relationships with customers is through shared beliefs and values.
